Nhu-Mai has been practicing mindfulness in the Thich Nhat Hanh tradition since 2009, and she is currently a member of the Order of Interbeing, a network of practitioners dedicated to serving the community and doing mindfulness outreach. She has facilitated mindfulness workshops for non-profits and medical communities. She has also traveled around the U.S. organizing mindfulness retreats and teaching stress-reduction workshops to young adults and children. In Houston, TX, she currently co-facilitates a local mindfulness group and organizes mindfulness events for all ages.
